**Job Title:** Respiratory Therapist

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00); Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

**Guaranteed Hours:** 60 hours per 2 weeks

**Experience:** 2 years of Level 3 or 4 NICU and PICU experience required

**License:** Valid state license (Pending license accepted; takes 10-12 weeks)

**Certifications:** BLS, CRT, NRBC; Prefer NRP, PALS, RRT

**Must-Have:**

- Strong preference for experience with all levels of NICU/PICU/Adult ICU, but must have Level 3 NICU/PICU or Adult with strong PICU experience
- Trauma and Peds/PICU experience required
- Prefer experience with Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Servo IIs

**Job Description:**

- Work in a 28-bed adult ICU, 9-bed PICU, and 66-bed Level 3 NICU
- Utilize NIV, high flow, nebulizers, CPT, nitric oxide, and Flolan nebulizers
- Operate Draeger vents for adults, Servo-I for PICU and NICU, and 3100A and 3100B ventilators along with Jet ventilators in NICU
- Engage in floor therapy
- Support level 2 trauma care for adults and pediatrics
- Provide care for patients undergoing open-heart surgeries
- Expected to float between all facilities within a given state
- Willingness to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year

Candidates must be prepared to work weekends and to float within their scope to meet facility needs. Familiarity with Epic charting is necessary. Orientation consists of 40 non-billable hours. Housing options may be limited; candidates should explore local options in advance.
