Health First is seeking experienced and passionate physician-educators to serve as Program Directors for the following ACGME-accredited residency programs:General SurgeryEmergency MedicineObstetrics & GynecologyInternal MedicineTransitional YearEach Program Director will lead their respective residency program, ensuring excellence in education, clinical training, and compliance with ACGME standards. Live where others vacation — work where innovation thrives Position & Benefit Highlights:Partnership with the Burrell College of Academic MedicineFull-time employed position with active clinical practiceProtected administration time, aligned with minimum ACGME requirementsCompetitive salary Welcome bonus and relocation allowance availablePaid malpractice insurance including 5 years of tail coverageComprehensive benefits package including retirement savings optionsInsurance (Health, Dental, Vision, Life, short- and long-term disability, supplemental & dependent Life)…and MORE General Requirements (All Positions):Board Certification in the relevant specialty by the appropriate certifying board (e.g., ABS, ABEM, ABOG, ABIM).Minimum of three years of documented educational and/or administrative experience in graduate medical education.Demonstrated scholarly activity aligned with the program’s mission.Active Florida Medical LicenseFamiliarity with GME online and reporting systems including NRMP or SF Match, ERAS, AMA, Freida, GMETrack, ABOS, etc. Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience as a Program Director, Associate Program Director, or core faculty.Experience in curriculum development, resident evaluation, and faculty development.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
