**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Job Specialty:** Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 12-hour night shifts, 36-hour weekly guarantee

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum of 2+ years of current ICU experience required; recent experience with high acuity MS/Tele patients preferred; prior travel experience preferred

**License:** New Hampshire state nursing license required

**Certifications:** ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), BLS (AHA)

**Must-Have:**
- 2+ years of current ICU experience
- Experience with high acuity MS/Tele patients
- Profile requirements, including work history, skills checklist (pertinent to the position), reference, and licensure/certifications, must be submitted

**Job Description:**

- The nurse to patient ratio is 2:1 for ICU level care, with flexibility for higher ratios for MNS level patients. A supervisor on-site can provide assistance as needed.
- Assess and identify patient problems/needs, establish a plan of care, implement interventions, and evaluate and revise the patient care plan based on progress.
- Support organizational efforts to improve patient satisfaction scores.
- Perform and document physical and psychosocial assessments of patients.
- Treat colleagues with courtesy and respect; actively work to strengthen interdepartmental relationships.
- Provide comfort to patients and families with prompt and effective nursing management.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and others in nursing practice.
- Patient population includes high acuity MSN/Tele, potential vent or critical patients for transfer.
- Use of Cerner electronic medical records.
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable for the dress code.
- Holiday rotation and weekends are required, as needed.
- Requested time off during the assignment must be noted in advance, with no more than five days accepted. No time off can be approved for October for this particular assignment.
