**Job Title:** Sterile Processing Technician

**Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (06:00 - 14:30)

**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years required

**License:** WA license required

**Certifications:** CBSPD or IAHCSMM required

**Must-Have:**
- Experience in inpatient, outpatient, and trauma settings
- Skills in sterilization, decontamination, assembly/wrap, case cart, HLD, and scrub
- Experience with surgery cases including Ortho, Urology, Endo/Laparoscopic, Vascular, Thoracic, Neuro, Gyn, Bariatrics, Plastics, Podiatry, ENT, Transplant, Robotics, and Implants; Ophthalmology preferred
- EPIC charting experience

**Job Description:**
- Work 5x8-hour day shifts with the possibility of weekend rotation
- Handle a daily caseload of approximately 65 surgical cases and 1200 tray volumes
- Participate in on-call duties twice per month, including rotating weekends
- Experience utilizing SPM is a plus
- Participate in a Level II Trauma Center setting, which includes outpatient, interventional radiology, emergency room, and inpatient care
- Engage in tasks such as sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap of surgical instruments
- Assemble case carts and handle high-level disinfection
- Ensure readiness for a variety of surgical cases involving multiple specialties
- Maintain compliance with all hospital and department policies

Candidates are expected to have supervisory references covering at least one year within the last three years in a comparable specialty or setting. All potential hires should be prepared to float between various like units as per skill set. Completion of training modules is required pre-start and annually.
