Description:
The RN Clinical Nurse is an active member of an interdisciplinary care team dedicated to providing high-quality and safe patient care. Operating within the guidelines of evidence-based practice and research, the RN practices in a clinical setting managed by Nurse Managers and leaders, following the Wellstar Professional Practice Model and the organization's values.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize the Nursing Process to deliver individualized care, emphasizing patient-centered outcomes.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Uphold professional nursing standards based on the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics.
- Coordinate and document patient care efficiently, promoting a respectful and inclusive clinical environment.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and shared governance activities.
- Serve as a preceptor/mentor for other nurses and contribute to the professional development of the team.
- Support evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement efforts.
- Efficiently utilize resources to plan and deliver continuous patient care across the care continuum.
- Comply with organizational policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.

Education and Skills:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license and BLS certification required.
- ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred.
- Proficiency in English language and basic computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond effectively to emergencies.
- Excellent time management and analytical skills.

This position offers day shifts from 6:45 am to 7:15 pm, with every other weekend and holiday rotations.
