**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Days; 48 hours/week; 4x12-hour shifts
**Guaranteed Hours:** 48 hours
**Experience:** Minimum 2 years required; 5 years preferred
**License:** RN license required
**Certifications:** CPR, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, EKG required
**Must-Have:** Travel experience

**Job Description:**

- Assess and reassess young adult, adult, and elderly patients using the nursing process.
- Demonstrate basic competency in specialized procedures and equipment related to cardiac care.
- Provide care and recovery for patients pre/post interventional cardiac procedures.
- Manage care for patients with vascular closure devices, including application, maintenance, and removal.
- Maintain and pull arterial and/or venous sheaths.
- Utilize ACT machines and minimal sedation protocols safely.
- Assist with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and perform the Bubble method when required.
- Manage pain effectively and conduct follow-up pain reassessments.
- Perform blood draws and use proper order-of-the-draw for laboratory tests.
- Administer IV therapies, blood, and blood products.
- Manage information efficiently and effectively.
- Perform synchronized cardioversion and manage both temporary and permanent pacemakers and ICDs.
- Assist with electrophysiology and interventional radiology procedures, including FFR and IVUS.
- Assist with RF and cryoablations, as well as insertion and management of intra-aortic balloon pumps and loop recorders.
- Monitor and manage anaphylactic reactions, using the anaphylactic kit when needed.
- Handle MAC Lab System Monitoring and patient care documentation.
- Adhere to safety and prevention guidelines during moderate sedation delivery.

**Education:**
- Associate degree in nursing required; Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
