**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Shift:** 7:00 pm - 7:00 am, 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week

**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified

**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years; open to first-time travelers with specified experience

**License:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

**Must-Have:**
- Experience with Cerner or EPIC electronic medical records
- Vent care, hemodynamic monitoring, medication titrations, arterial line, and critical care skills

**Job Description:**
- Provide skilled care for patients in various intensive care units, including General Cardiac, CVICU, MICU, Neuro ICU, and Surgical ICU
- Handle a patient ratio of 1:2
- Expected to assist with patient types such as STEMI, post heart catheter interventions, respiratory failure, post cardiac arrest, renal failure, and critical care needs in General Cardiac ICU
- Manage post-operative CABG, valve surgeries, ECMO, and post cardiac arrest cases in CVICU
- Handle acute respiratory and renal failures, liver failure, DKA, and sepsis in MICU
- Attend to neurological conditions such as CVA, subarachnoid hemorrhage, and seizures in Neuro ICU
- Provide care for post-surgical, trauma, vascular, and neuro trauma patients in Surgical ICU
- Engage in orientation with 24 hours of classroom time and 24 hours on the unit for new travelers or those returning after more than a year
- No on-call requirement; will include a weekend rotation and work on holidays, with certain holiday periods having blackout dates for time off approval
- Support on the unit includes one charge nurse per shift, phlebotomy, and IV/VAT team services
- Utilize technology such as Cerner EMR, Plum 360 IV pumps, and Spacelabs monitors
- Required to float between similar units/patient locations as necessary
