**Must-Have:** Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to prioritize and multitask effectively, competence in Diagnostic Radiology and radiation protection, understanding of anatomy and pathology

**Description:**
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in the use of equipment for diagnosing or treating diseases. This role involves setting up the equipment and positioning patients for procedures and assisting with patient care in adherence to departmental procedures. Essential functions include obtaining clinical histories, ensuring proper use of patient identifiers, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities involve adjusting techniques to minimize radiation exposure, reporting equipment issues, cleaning equipment, and explaining procedures to patients clearly. Patient comfort and privacy are important. The technologist works with students during clinical rotations, participates in emergency response if required, and ensures the highest quality images by adhering to proper technical and procedural protocols.

Routine operations include restocking supplies, transporting patients, assisting them on and off tables, applying safety devices, and interacting professionally with various departments. Flexibility with work hours to meet department needs, a team-oriented approach, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Compliance with hospital policies and maintaining current education and competency is required.

**Additional Notes:**
- Clinical hours are Monday through Friday, 5pm - 1:30am
- Includes on-call and holiday shifts
- Caribbean blue scrubs required
