**Job Title:** Respiratory Lead

**Job Specialty:** Respiratory Care

**Job Duration:** Direct Hire

**Shift:** Day - 3x12 - 7am - 7pm

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** 4 years of adult critical care experience and 2 years of neonatal care

**License:** Registered Respiratory Therapist

**Certifications:** ACLS and NRP required; PALS preferred

**Must-Have:**
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program with an Associate's Degree
- Registered by the NBRC
- Licensed by the State of Indiana as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Current in Basic Life/CPR certification

**Job Description:**

- Facilitate the delivery of optimal patient care through delegation, facilitation, collaboration, critical thinking, and prioritization.
- Effectively manage resources and support Respiratory Therapy staff in the performance of their duties.
- Assume responsibility for the efficient operation of the Respiratory department, ensuring the needs of the customers are met.
- Assure quality results by overseeing data collection, charges, and timely performance of procedures.
- Develop daily work schedules, assigning coworkers without prejudice to meet the needs of the customer and the facility.
- Provide input into performance evaluations, develop training schedules, and create training designed to improve coworkers' skills and enhance their performance.
- Work in conjunction with the manager to ensure continuous readiness for inspections.
