Job Title: Registered Nurse - PICU

Job Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit

Job Duration: 26 weeks

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30); Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Experience: Minimum 2 years of true Pediatric ICU (PICU) experience

License: Must have Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or compact license from the permanent address state

Certifications: BLS certified through American Heart Association, PALS certified through American Heart Association

Must-Have:
- Minimum 2 years of Pediatric ICU (PICU) experience
- Willingness to work in Peds ICU, IMC, and GC units
- Trach experience preferred
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred
- Basic Arrhythmia experience for Telemetry

Job Description:
- Provide care to neonates, infants, children, adolescents, and families with complex medical diagnoses and disease processes
- Support all units within the hospital to cover staffing needs like sick leaves, acuity changes, and leave of absences
- Float across units based on current staffing needs or locations within the organization
- Participate in a healing environment designed for pediatric patients and families
- Must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years
- Pass Telemetry test before starting (not for clinic positions)
- Follow orientation schedule at the given location

Note: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles from the assigned primary work site location. Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted.
