- Experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity Cath Lab
- Experience with the following procedures: Diagnostic, interventional, RHC, LHC, STEMI/NSTEMI, CTO, valvuloplasty, Cardiomems, biopsies, atherectomies, staged PCI, IABP, Impella
**Job Description:**
- Work in a Level III Trauma and NICU facility with Magnet Designation and Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Handle adult patient cases; no pediatric patients involved
- Engage in procedures such as Peripheral diagnostic and interventional cases, and some fistulograms
- Experience with Hybrid cases preferred but not required (AAA grafts, thoracic grafts, clips, TAVRs, Watchman)
- Ensure a 1:1 patient ratio
- Required skills include Cath Lab and Peripheral case management, conscious sedation, and titrating/managing drips
- Permanent staff available to monitor cases
- Support provided by housekeeping, storeroom staff, day-time transporters, and a receptionist/HUC
- Work under the guidance of a charge nurse/lead tech
- Collaborate with a 24/7 RT, hospitalist, and cardiology team
- Engage with the hospital's critical response team for codes if needed
- Utilize EPIC for charting, and other equipment such as Alaris, Pyxis, and C-arms
- Experience with equipment like Volcano, St. Jude, Alphavac, Angiovac, EKOS, Anari preferred but not required
- 1 week of orientation provided
- Participate in scheduling with potential weekend and weekday call times
- Adhere to a "fatigue policy" limiting work to 60 hours a week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts
- Scrub color provided
