**Job Title:** Interventional Radiology Technician

**Job Specialty:** Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) or Day 4x10-Hour (09:00 - 19:30), Monday to Friday; no weekend requirement, rotating nights and weekend calls

**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified

**Experience:** Minimum of 1 year of experience as IR Tech

**License:** California Radiology Technologist License if using ARRT Radiology

**Certifications:**
- RCIS or ARRT Radiology
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

**Must-Have:**
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Availability for lab work 3-5 days after signing
- Valid state license at the time of application
- Willingness to comply with travel requirements and policies

**Job Description:**
- Follow clearly defined procedures to assist cardiologists, radiologists, and registered nurses in executing and analyzing procedures in the Interventional Radiology Lab.
- Integrate education, technical competence, and patient interaction skills to provide safe and precise treatment under the supervision of a cardiologist.
- Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families/support groups, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety, helping to deliver optimal patient care.
- May be responsible for mentoring and training students.

**Additional Information:**
- Return staff must have been gone for at least 1 year to return as a traveler.
- Vaccination requirements: COVID-19 and flu vaccine status are currently unknown.
