Job Description:

- Work in the Geropsych unit within the Behavioral Health Pavilion, caring for patients over 60 years old with dementia, depression, or suicidal tendencies
- Responsible for a 1:6/7 nurse-to-patient ratio in a unit with 16 private rooms
- Willingness to float to Med/Surg units as needed
- Prior Epic experience within the last year is required
- Conduct interviews as part of the hiring process, availability for interviews should be listed in the resume
- Provide quality nursing care, administer medications, and assist with patient support
- Maintain BLS and CPI certifications throughout the assignment
- Demonstrate the ability to handle crisis situations and effectively manage patient behaviors
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care is provided
