**Shift:** Night Shift 18:30-07:00; includes every other weekend and holidays

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum 1 year

**License:** Current Illinois nursing license

**Certifications:** BLS certification required

**Must-Have:** Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; B.S.N. preferred or equivalent years of experience

**Job Description:**

- Manage and coordinate nursing care during client hospitalization in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Provide client care for individuals aged 18 and older.
- Organize and deliver nursing care.
- Direct other health care personnel in care delivery.
- Perform client assessments, diagnoses, care planning, outcomes establishment, implementation, and evaluation.
- Maintain professional accountability for nursing care provided.
- Demonstrate competency in nursing judgment and awareness of economic barriers in healthcare.
- Provide direct client care and emergency care as needed.
- Accurately implement physician orders and administer medications.
- Record information concisely, accurately, and completely.
- Comply with infection control policies and procedures.
- Participate in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
- Evaluate and provide recommendations on personnel performance.
- Utilize and adhere to organizational communication channels and safety procedures.
- Adjust interventions based on age-appropriate guidelines.
- Protect client rights, ensuring confidentiality, privacy, safety, and security.
- Adapt to changes in work assignments and environments.
- Assist with development and implementation of unit goals.
- Conduct group therapies and participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning.
- Engage in process improvement activities.
- Maintain customer service and establish collaborative relationships with healthcare team members.
- Support organizational mission and philosophy through actions and team collaboration.
- Attend in-services, training, and required meetings for continued growth.
