Overview: Presbyterian is seeking an RN to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients in an Outpatient Clinic. Common responsibilities include preparing the patient for the visit, maintaining efficient patient flow, assisting the provider with treatments and procedures, medication administration, support for clerical functions to include scheduling, referrals, authorization and in-basket support with the EMR. Type of Opportunity: Full Time (0.9 FTE/36 hours per week)Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm 9 hour shift / 4 days How you grow, learn and thrive matters here.Educational and career development options, including tuition and certification reimbursement, scholarship opportunitiesShift differentials for nights and weekendsDifferentials for higher education, certifications and various lead rolesMalpractice liability insuranceLoan forgiveness through the New Mexico Higher Education Department EPIC electronic charting system Responsibilities: Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken and patient responses.Coordinates patients care through collaboration with the patient/family and healthcare team.Performs assessments as per unit standards and documents on appropriate data base/assessment flow sheet.Initiates, utilizes and documents appropriate protocols and standards of careAdministers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician, or standard protocols and documents according to policy.Performs other functions as required. Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) - State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License required.Associate degree in nursingBLS Certification required at time of hire.Prefer nursing experience / infusion Benefits: We're all about well-being, starting with yours.
