Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Experience: Minimum of 2 years

License: Active Registered Nurse License

Certifications: ACLS

Must-Have:
- Critical thinking skills
- Decisive judgment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action

Job Description:
- Work in a 225-bed specialty care hospital
- Collaborate with the Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, Rehab, Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Bariatric Medicine & Weight Management, Women's Health, and Pediatrics departments
- Obtain experience in the region's premier imaging, surgery, and laboratory services
- Care for adult and geriatric patient populations, ages 18 to 125
- Ensure patient ratios of 5:1 to 6:1

Additional Notes:
- Occasional float requirements to similar units
- Equipped with telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Kangaroo pump, bladder scanner, and Dynamaps
- Utilize Cerner electronic health records
- Maintain compliance with a dress code of Galaxy Blue or Navy scrubs, and adhere to the hand hygiene policy
- Tattoos deemed offensive must be covered, and excessive jewelry is discouraged

Preferences:
- Previous experience on a medical/surgical unit
- Familiarity with treating common diagnoses in med/surg units

Personality Fit:
- Able to integrate well into a team environment and maintain professionalism and empathy.
