**Job Title:** Surgical Technologist

**Shift:** 10/12 Varied

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36

**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in a large operating room, with current cardiovascular experience

**License:** Active NM or compact license required

**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred, through recognized organizations

**Must-Have:**
- Ability to scrub
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
- Completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment

**Job Description:**

- Must adhere to a 75-mile straight-line radius rule and not be considered as a local traveler.
- Candidates must be aware of their submission and should not contact the facility directly.
- Time off requests should be disclosed initially; those requested after acceptance will not be approved.
- Require at least two references, one from a current manager.
- Experience in Ortho, ENT, and transplant surgeries is a plus.
- Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
- Handle varied shifts and be open to fluctuating schedules to meet department staffing needs.
- Weekends, on-call duties, and holidays may be required.
- Travelers are the first to float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of their permanent assigned location.
- Must successfully complete orientation within the first week of the contract, including EPIC training if required.
- Scrubs are required but not provided.
- No holiday time-off requests will be approved for travelers.
- Travelers must not have been employed by the health system for 12 months from the last day worked, to be eligible for a travel position.
