Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Rotating - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 20 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Medical Assistant - Medical Assistant Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): Edmonds, WA (onsite) Contract Duration: 20 weeks Work Hours: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) Total Weekly Hours: 40 (Backfill for JL) ***Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) is REQUIRED; Cannot be a Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R), Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-P), or Medical Assistant-Hemodialysis Technician (MA-HT). ***This position is open to LOCAL, NON-LOCAL, and TRUE TRAVEL candidates. ----- Internal Medicine Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) - Edmonds, WA - Schedule: 4x10hr, 0700-1730 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday // OFF THURSDAYS AND WEEKENDS) - Experience: 1 year of experience working as an MA-C in an adult outpatient clinic setting - Skills REQ: Vital Signs, Exam Prep, Injections, Specimen Collection, Administrative - First-timers accepted: Yes - Weekend REQ: No - Is on-call REQ? No - Will this traveler need to float between like units? No, same location every day - Locals accepted: Yes SPECIAL NOTES: - Our clinic is medium-sized, comprising six care teams and seven medical assistants, with a focus on a predominantly geriatric patient panel. Prior experience with EPIC EMR and Primary Care, particularly wellness visits, is beneficial for candidates. We are conveniently located on a hospital campus within a medical building that offers free parking. CLINIC HIGHLIGHTS: - Type of Facility: Internal Medicine Clinic - Scrub Color: Any color - Charting: EPIC (experience preferred) ----- JOB TITLE TAGS DEFINITIONS: Temp to Perm (LOCALS ONLY) The job is strictly for local candidates within a 50-mile radius. No travelers accepted. Temp-to-perm is a required expectation. 50-mile radius rule applies. Temp to Perm (LOCAL + TRAVEL) Open to locals and local travelers just outside the 50-mile radius. True travelers are not eligible. Conversion to perm is expected. LOCALS ONLY The role prefers local candidates, with a strong focus on eventual perm placement.
