**Shift:** Day (7:30am - 5:30pm, 4 x 10hr shifts); On-Call: 12 shifts per 4 weeks

**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified

**Experience:** Minimum 1 year RN experience required

**License:** Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact

**Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

**Must-Have:**
- Completion of V-ARU competencies

**Job Description:**

- Function under the direction of the Site Manager and perform a variety of clinical procedures independently.
- Provide pre and post-procedure care for invasive, interventional, and surgical procedures.
- Apply critical thinking skills and deliver patient care in complex cases.
- Be flexible with hours to meet department needs and work scheduled and On-Call hours if necessary.
- Maintain professional communication and demonstrate dependability, cooperation, and emotional stability.
- Ensure privacy and comfort for patients, and transport patients as needed.
- Assist with maintenance of departmental records, standards compliance, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Complete necessary paperwork, chart reviews, and QA/QC functions.
- Assist in other medical imaging areas and departments system-wide as needed.
- Successfully maintain BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Understand the scope of services and assist in training other medical imaging staff.
- Review cases with physicians as needed and ensure patient care extends from arrival until results are delivered.
- Verify patient ID using two identifiers and ensure written orders are clarified and followed appropriately.
- Conduct patient and family education, providing post-procedural care instructions.
- Comply with all health system policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
