Must-Have: Experience with Siemens equipment

Job Description:

- Perform magnetic resonance imaging on patients using highly technical equipment and administer contrast materials as required.
- Prepare scan room and patient for examination, ensuring all necessary equipment and materials are ready.
- Draw up IV contrast if needed, administer oral contrast if indicated, perform warm-up procedures on equipment, and enter patient data and appropriate scan parameters.
- Review patient data to assure proper exam and review previous exams. Interview and screen patients for contraindications, and explain the procedure to answer patient questions.
- Transport patients into the exam room, assist with appropriate positioning for the exam, determine any allergies, inject IV contrast as necessary, and perform scans with attention to detail.
- Utilize correct protocols, coils, restraints, and other materials during scanning.
- Assure proper orientation marking of patients, manage images with keypad attention to order, and prepare records for the radiologist.
- Ensure all clinical information is complete and exam images are correctly ordered, providing additional information as required.
- Note: Local candidates living within 50 miles of the facility cannot be considered.
