Night, 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00) with every other weekend rotation and some holidays

**Guaranteed Hours:**
36 hrs/week

**Experience:**
Two years of acute care experience within the last three years, Chemo and/or Bone Marrow Transplant experience required

**License:**
Valid nursing license or compact license from the permanent address state

**Certifications:**
BLS (certified through the American Heart Association only), Chemotherapy certification required

**Must-Have:**
Basic Arrhythmia experience

**Job Description:**

- Join a team of remarkable nurses in a 41-bed hematology, oncology, stem cell transplant, and palliative care inpatient unit.
- Provide care for acutely ill patients, including those undergoing bone marrow, stem cell transplant, and cellular therapies (CAR T), as well as patients at end of life.
- Care for patients with complex disease processes, including leukemia, lymphoma, and solid tumor cancers, often with complications such as Graft-Versus-Host Disease.
- Administer chemotherapy, assist with stem cell transplant procedures, perform bone marrow biopsies, administer blood products, access central lines and ports, and perform head-to-toe assessments for patients.
- Be involved in cutting-edge, evidence-based therapies and research studies to improve patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and lead practice changes.
- Become an expert oncology RN with formal education classes in hematologic malignancies, oncologic emergencies, stem cell transplant, palliative care, and chemotherapy certification.
- Ability to float among multiple units, as needed, depending on staffing requirements.
- Engage in an orientation program with 20 hours of non-billable orientation activities.
