This vital role offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional obstetric and gynecologic care, support hospital operations, and ensure positive outcomes for women and their families. Required Skills: Medical degree (MD or DO) with valid medical license to practice in Indiana Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology Active, unrestricted medical license in Indiana Proven experience providing obstetric and gynecologic care in a hospital setting Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Nice to Have Skills: Experience with high-risk obstetrics Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems Previous locum or temporary hospitalist experience Bilingual abilities or additional language proficiency Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Minimum of 2 years of inpatient OB/GYN experience Prior practice in hospitalist roles is advantageous Other Requirements: Availability to cover weekend shifts, with the shift scheduled on weekends only Compliance with all hospital, state, and federal regulations Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development Travel or lodging reimbursement when applicable Compensation for this position is highly competitive, offering an hourly pay rate of $214.50.
