**Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM); Variable or straight nights, option for blocked scheduling

**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in a segmented/separate pediatric ED or children's hospital
**License:** Current CA RN license required or pending with estimated time of arrival
**Certifications:** BLS, PALS
**Must-Have:**
- Experience with computerized charting, triage, IV starts, telemetry, and conscious sedation
- Willingness to receive a flu shot when requested
**Job Description:**
- The RN will work in the Pediatric Emergency Department providing care to pediatric patients.
- Shift can vary but will not involve switching from day to night shifts unexpectedly; generally scheduled for two different shifts in a month.
- Must be flexible with scheduling, including working two out of three major holidays.
- No more than six days of approved time off during the contract.
- Candidates must be able to float within the hospital or to satellite locations as needed.
- Completion of pre-start modules is required; modules may take 6-8 hours to complete.
- All orientation hours are accounted for, with 12 hours allotted for orientation.
