**License:**
- South Carolina Radiation Quality Standard Association (SCRQSA) Radiographer Certification

**Certifications:**
- Nuclear Medicine Certification from AART or NMTCB
- BLS through the American Heart Association

**Must-Have:**
- PET/NM registered tech with recent PET experience
- English proficiency: Speak, Read, Write

**Job Description:**

- Perform procedures under the medical supervision of certified radiologists to produce diagnostic images.
- Assist radiologists as needed and supervise student Radiologic Technologists.
- Prioritize patient care during imaging procedures and obtain correct written orders.
- Efficiently utilize imaging equipment, minimize repeat examinations, and emphasize cost containment.
- Instruct and prepare patients regarding imaging procedures, assist in obtaining informed consent, and ensure patient understanding.
- Enter correct orders, diagnosis, and clinical history into the computer system; communicate effectively with radiologists.
- Adhere to hospital, departmental, and safety policies and procedures; practice good radiation protection.
- Assist other team members and departments as needed, demonstrating flexibility and accountability.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills and maintain confidentiality of work-related information.
- Must be able to perform and teach Nuclear Medicine exams, ensuring diagnostic image quality.
- Knowledge of OSHA, DHEC, FDA, and TJC standards and regulations is required.

Candidates should project a professional appearance and have frequent personal contact with patients, staff, and physicians. There is no on-call requirement, and this position is located at a cancer center PET location.
