**Must-Have:**
- Ability to circulate in OR
- Competency in normal newborn assessments and routine baby care
- Willingness to float to Postpartum occasionally

**Job Description:**

- Perform nursing duties in a Labor and Delivery unit, including managing care for high-risk obstetric and routine obstetric cases.
- Circulate in Operating Room (OR) as required.
- Conduct normal newborn assessments and provide routine baby care.
- Float to Postpartum as necessary, which includes care for both infant and mother.
- Assist with titration of drips such as Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and pain medications.
- Work in a team setting under the guidance of charge nurses, with support from Obstetric Technicians and Resident MDs.
- Anesthesia provided 24/7 on the unit by Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).
- Troubleshoot as necessary with respiratory equipment, primarily nasal cannula.
- Maintain telemetry monitoring in recovery post-C-section using the Obix system.
- Engagement in self-scheduling with potential flexibility in shift assignments.
- Work every third weekend, with potential adjustment based on unit needs, and fulfill holiday requirements of one major and one minor.
- Entry into charting systems completed using EPIC.
- Attend 2-3 shifts of department-specific orientation.
- Surgical scrubs are provided as part of the dress code.
