- Ability to perform arterial punctures, BiPAP, CPAP, troubleshoot high-pressure alarms, wean from mechanical ventilation
- Ability to interpret ABGs and draw arterial blood gases
**Job Description:**
- Assist with bronchoscopies and perform endotracheal intubation.
- Work with specialized equipment, including nitric oxide, high-frequency jet ventilation, and high-frequency oscillatory ventilation.
- Manage patients with general respiratory therapy needs, focusing on ventilators and non-invasive ventilation using Philips V60 and Hamilton platforms.
- Provide patient care for diagnoses such as ARDS, pneumonia, and COVID-19, with treatments including the administration of inhaled medications and mechanical ventilation adjustments.
- Float within the hospital or nearby affiliate hospitals as needed.
- Meet compliance with vaccination requirements; flu vaccine required unless exempt for medical or religious reasons.
- Adhere to submission and compliance guidelines, including license and certification verifications.
