**Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

**Experience:** Requires Level 3 or 4 NICU experience; NICU Charge RN experience; Delivery/Resuscitation experience.

**License:** OR license required; can submit with it pending unless specified otherwise.

**Certifications:** None specified

**Must-Have:**
- Level 3 or 4 NICU experience
- NICU Charge RN experience
- Delivery/Resuscitation experience

**Job Description:**
- Serve as a Charge Nurse for Level 3 or 4 NICU.
- Potential for 1-3 shifts as charge per week, depending on the need, most often probably 1-2 shifts.
- Must be available for on-call standby when not needed on unit.
- Work weekends on a rotating and variable schedule.
- Maintain expected nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:3.
- Responsible for orientation: 40 non-billable hours.
- Must have EPIC charting experience.
- Comply with hospital policy of 50-mile radius rule.
- Must provide a minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty/setting.
- May be expected to float between affiliated facilities nearby.
- Ensure proper module completion pre-start and annually; average of 16 non-billable hours spent.

**Additional Notes:**
- Travelers are required to work 3 of the 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
- Inflexibility beyond the contracted schedule and/or requested time off may lead to contract termination.
