This position is responsible for providing training, supervision, and mentoring to maximize counselor performance and improve time management skills of the staff. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:


· Oversee clinical reviews to monitor patient progress.


· Prepare and maintain counselor work schedules to provide adequate coverage seven days a week that complies with regulatory requirements. Conduct performance appraisals and participate in hiring and termination recommendations.


· Provide individual and group supervision in accordance with counselor credentialing requirements and internal policy.


· Participate in program planning, development and other management functions.


· Perform direct counseling services in accordance with awarded privileges.


· Provide counseling services in accordance with productivity expectations, including but not limited to, individual counseling, group counseling, and weekly integration.


· After-hours coverage of the outpatient department in an on-call rotation with other Site Managers.


· Interact with the administrative, utilization review, admissions, and other clinical disciplines to ensure the efficient coordination and timely delivery of treatment services.


· Provide the oversight and training necessary to achieve optimal clinical performance.
