**Must-Have:** Positive attitude and demonstrated willingness to assess and improve the work environment; Ability to perform multiple tasks while coordinating patient flow and executing various technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative.

**Job Description:**

- Perform diagnostic studies and assist with therapeutic administrations using radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment in accordance with policies and procedures and safety regulations.
- Acquire and process patient exams, utilizing Nuclear Medicine and/or PED/CT equipment, in accordance with accrediting bodies and manufacturer guidelines.
- Review cases with the radiologist when appropriate.
- Review labs and patient history to perform the correct exam.
- Administer IV radiopharmaceuticals via existing IV line or by performing venipuncture and placing an IV line.
- Screen patients for the possibility of pregnancy and perform pregnancy testing if applicable.
- Review radiology orders for completeness and accuracy.
- Assess patient history and supporting clinical data for medical necessity and acquire additional information if needed.
- Demonstrate acceptable imaging quality standards by critiquing positioning, technical factors, and alignment.
- Transfer and verify image data in PACS and provide necessary medical history for Radiologist interpretation.
- Utilize web servers and email systems to send exams for preliminary readings after hours.
- Maintain imaging equipment and workplace environment, ensuring safety and orderliness.
- Recognize malfunctions and service needs, reporting in a timely manner.
- Ensure patient, visitor, and environmental safety, and report safety events immediately.
- Assist in the instruction of students and new staff as necessary.
- May perform duties of a Lead or Imaging Coordinator in their absence.
- Meet productivity levels as established by department benchmarking.
- Assist other areas to maintain productivity during downtimes.
- Perform duties of other modalities if applicable, based on licensure or certifications.
