**License:** Current Respiratory Care Practitioners License, State of Maine

**Certifications:**
- National Board for Respiratory Care Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or eligible to sit for the RRT exam within one year
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Optional Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

**Must-Have:**
- Extensive knowledge of cardiopulmonary physiology
- Graduate of a Commission on Respiratory Care Education accredited school for Respiratory Care (CoARC) with a CRT or RRT credential as recognized by the National Board of Respiratory Care

**Job Description:**
- Provide quality respiratory care services to patients of all age groups, both inpatient and outpatient.
- Perform therapy services and testing within the scope of practice.
- Attend in-service training and continuing education activities.
- Perform all therapeutic respiratory care procedures.
- Operate and manage adult, pediatric, and neonatal mechanical ventilation.
- Use BiPAP/CPAP systems effectively.
- Conduct and interpret EKGs, pulmonary function tests (PFTs), and cardiac stress testing.
- Interpret basic cardiac arrhythmias.
- Holiday coverage is required.
