The Nurse Orthopedic Joints will report directly to the Nurse Manager of the Total Orthopedics and Joints Unit. This role involves close collaboration with orthopedic surgeons, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and high standards of care.

The Total Orthopedics and Joints Unit is a specialized unit dedicated to the care of patients undergoing orthopedic procedures, including joint replacements and reconstructions. Our team provides preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care in a fast-paced and supportive environment. The unit is equipped with the latest technology to assist in patient recovery and ensure the highest level of care.

As a Nurse Orthopedic Joints you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care throughout the orthopedic surgery process. Your duties will include monitoring and managing patient recovery, administering medications and treatments as prescribed, collaborating with the orthopedic team to develop and implement care plans, educating patients and their families about procedures and recovery, documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a safe and clean environment in the unit.

Requirements

  • Current RN licensure.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic or surgical setting will earn a quick interview.
  • Strong clinical skills with a thorough understanding of orthopedic procedures and recovery processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
