**Job Duration:** 12 Weeks
**Shift:** 12-Hour Day/Night Rotate, includes Call, every other weekend, every other holiday, may float
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in LDRP
**License:** Active RN License required
**Certifications:** BLS; Preferred: ACLS, NRP, STABLE
**Must-Have:**
- Ability to read and interpret fetal strips
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to follow quality metrics
- Previous travel experience
**Job Description:**
- Deliver comprehensive care in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) settings.
- Manage patients with common obstetric and neonate conditions, including hypertension and gestational diabetes mellitus.
- Perform couplet care with adherence to AWHONN guidelines (1:1 for specific drips, 1:3 for couplet care).
- Titrate common drips such as pitocin, insulin, and magnesium.
- Rotate between various units including MedSurg and ER as needed.
- Serve on-call depending on staffing requirements and float if necessary.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurse aides and surgical techs, to optimize patient care.
- Use Meditech for Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and manage telemetry using Philips monitors.
- Comply with scrub color and dress code guidelines; maroon surgical scrubs provided.
- Adapt to block scheduling and adhere to weekend and holiday work requirements.
