**License:** Valid RN license or Compact RN license required
**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, PALS
**Must-Have:** Flexibility to float to MS/ICU or IMC as needed

**Job Description:**
- Work in a community-based Emergency Department handling a variety of patient diagnoses including respiratory, GI/GU, cardiac, neuro, minor trauma, OB/GYN, integumentary, strokes, STEMIs, major trauma, and pediatric emergencies prior to transfer.
- Perform special procedures including, but not limited to, chest tubes, thoracentesis, paracentesis, RSI, splinting, procedural sedation, application of restraints, vacuum D&C, central lines, and US guided IVs.
- Utilize special equipment such as the rapid infuser, EZ IO, Lifepack 15 and 20, GE monitors, GE EKG, and Glidescope.
- Collaborate with a 24/7 Emergency Department MD and mid-level practitioners during mid-shift based on historical volumes.
- Attend orientation on-site, with modules recorded via transcripts.
- Adhere to a non-specific scrub color code with no logos.
- Follow rotation schedule, working every other weekend with a minimum of 3 weekends per 6-week schedule.
- Comply with health and safety regulations, including COVID-19 and flu vaccinations, when required.
- Maintain a professional and adaptable attitude, floating to similar units within your scope as needed based on facility needs.
