**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Med-Surg Experience and willingness to float
**License:** Current Registered Nurse license in good standing
**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE
**Must-Have:**
- Fetal Heart Monitoring intermediate experience
- ENPC or PALS certification

**Job Description:**

- Perform assessments, care plans, and ongoing care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn patients.
- Manage obstetric and newborn emergencies according to policy, guidelines, and certifications.
- Assist with maternal and newborn procedures, including epidural placement and circumcision.
- Adhere to fetal heart monitoring documentation guidelines.
- Occasionally handle a med-surg patient load and assist in other units when available.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, visitors, and co-workers.
- Maintain organizational abilities and demonstrate proficiency in computer applications.
- Read, analyze, and interpret scientific, technical, and legal documents.
- Solve practical problems involving a variety of concrete variables in specific situations.
- Physically able to meet demands including lifting, moving, and interacting with equipment.
- Work environment includes exposure to various conditions, requiring adherence to safety protocols.

**Comments:**
- This position requires initial night shifts, transitioning to day shifts for the remainder of the assignment.
- Facility is open to local travelers without changes to rates.
