**Job Specialty:** Medical Surgical - Hepatology GI/Liver
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) with every other weekend and holiday rotation
**Guaranteed Hours:** Facility is allowed to call off one shift per two weeks
**Experience:** 1 year required; first-timers accepted
**License:** SC or Multi State/Compact RN license
**Certifications:** BLS
**Must-Have:**
- Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs
- Comfortable working with a diverse patient population
- Ability to work during hurricane season if necessary
**Job Description:**
- The Hepatology GI/Liver unit is a 16-bed adult medical-surgical unit.
- Provide care for a variety of medical/surgical/post-surgical patients.
- Opportunity to care for highly infectious disease patients, including those who test positive for COVID-19.
- Nurse-to-patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:5 depending on staffing.
- Charge RN assignment may include a free float or one patient.
- Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November).
- Utilize EPIC for charting.
- Wear solid royal blue or a white top with royal blue bottoms as part of the dress code.
