- Telemetry experience

**Job Description:**
- Independently acquire housing.
- Located in Asheville, North Carolina, this facility is recognized nationally for high clinical quality year after year.
- Achieved an A Grade for Hospital Safety and earned the prestigious Magnet Designation for nursing excellence.
- Acts as the region’s referral center for Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, Level III neonatal intensive care unit, and the only local children’s hospital with a pediatric emergency room.
- Hosts the busiest robotic surgery program in the Carolinas and provides the only open heart and interventional cardiology services in the region.
- Earned a three-star rating from The Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) for exceptional patient care and outcomes.

**Unit Information:**
- Number of beds: 18
- Day Shift Staffing: 1 charge RN, 2-3 RNs, 1 LPN, 1-2 PCTs, 1 unit secretary
- Night Shift Staffing: 1 charge RN, 2-3 RNs, 1 LPN, 1-2 PCTs
- Patient ratios: 6:1, with the goal for the charge nurse to be available to assist

**Team and Equipment:**
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Help others without being asked
- Utilizes equipment such as Baxter IV pumps, wound vacs, and SCDS

**Floating Areas:**
- Float to other medical-surgical units, and ED holding medical/surgical patients

**Dress Code:**
- Scrub color/attire: All navy, all white, or white top with navy pants. Navy or white undershirts if needed.

**Weekends and On-call:**
- Weekends: Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.
