**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Specialty:** Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

**Guaranteed Hours:** Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

**Experience:** 2 years of PICU experience required; ECMO and CRRT experience preferred

**License:** South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license

**Certifications:** BLS, PALS (Only accepts American Heart Association)

**Must-Have:** Willingness to work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule

**Job Description:**

- Work 3x12-hour night shifts depending on unit needs with holiday rotation
- Care for a mixture of ICU and Stepdown patients with ratios of 1:2 for ICU and 1:3 for Stepdown
- Clinicians may float within their scope to meet facility needs
- Open to first-time travelers
- Options for block scheduling subject to manager approval and unit needs
- Pediatric Intensive Care Unit is a 28-bed unit providing care for patients aged 0-18 with a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses
- Provide care for conditions such as respiratory compromise, trauma, post-operative surgeries, and neurology/neurosurgery cases
- Offer complex supportive therapies including ECMO/CRRT, dialysis, and palliative care as needed
- Collaborate with a diverse team including Patient Care Technicians, Unit Secretaries, and supportive services like Respiratory Therapy, Dietitians, and Pharmacists
- Participate in hurricane emergency response teams during the hurricane season from June through November
- Complete non-billable modules before the start date
- Undergo a 16-hour orientation
