**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 12-Hour Nights, Every Other Weekend, Holiday Rotation

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years

**License:** Required to submit

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS

**Must-Have:** At least 2 years of ICU experience; 1 year in ICU and 1 year in PCU/Med Surg if from larger facilities with strong skills

**Job Description:**

- Unit consists of Multi Care Unit with combined acuity levels for ICU, PCU, and MST.
- Ward capacity includes 10 beds.
- Staff-to-patient ratios vary by acuity: ICU 1:2, PCU 1:4, MST 1:5-6. If no nurse aid is available, ratio adjusts to 1:3 for primary care.
- Handle common medical and surgical conditions including sepsis, respiratory arrest, pneumonia, COVID, and post-operative complications.
- Required to titrate drips such as sedation, vasopressors, and insulin.
- Managed by Charge RN covering 50 inpatient beds across various specialties.
- Support provided by Respiratory Therapists for equipment like vents, Cpap, BiPap.
- Remote Monitor Techs are available for PCU & MST patients; RNs required to take 12-lead EKG.
- Expected to work every other weekend, with holiday rotation fairly distributed.
- On standby as required during low census, with potential floating to maintain competency.
- RNs may wear any scrub color except camouflage.
- Orientation includes both hospital-wide and unit-specific sessions.
- Uses Cerner charting system.
