**Job Description:**

- Seeking a proficient multi-modality Radiologic Technologist with X-Ray & CT experience. ARRT CT certification preferred.
- Obtain and process quality images; complete all required documentation and paperwork timely.
- Prepare patients for examinations in a professional manner; provide safe care based on the age-specific needs of the patient.
- Interact with radiologists and diagnostic imaging team effectively, and comply with protocols and procedures.
- Ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, being self-motivated, compassionate, empathetic, and congenial.
- Comfortable working independently with exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to adapt to workload variability required.
- Greet patients, explain procedures, answer their questions, assist them as necessary, and ensure they are appropriately changed for exams.
- Notify nurse when ED/med-surg patients leave the unit and ensure they are unhooked from all monitoring equipment.
- Prepare exam rooms for patients ensuring equipment is clean, functioning properly, and supplies are stocked and available.
- Utilize ALARA principles; perform requested diagnostic radiology exams; optimize image quality with accurate positioning and technique.
- Close out exams, send images for interpretation, and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor and stock radiology supplies while checking for expired items.
- Follow equipment maintenance requirements and perform necessary QC as appropriate.
- Perform basic office duties including answering the phone, scheduling exams, obtaining protocols, and handling prior authorizations when necessary.
- Must be available during on-call hours and be within a specific travel time from the hospital.
- Participate in a supportive and positive work environment with the ability to transport patients, close exams, and assist the team as needed.
- Work with state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring the best images with the lowest risk are obtained.
