**Shift:** 3x12-hour shifts, 7 PM - 7 AM, with weekend rotation every other weekend

**Experience:** Minimum of 1 year as an RN

**License:** Current Registered Nurse Licensure

**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, PALS

**Must-Have:** Completion of Nurse Residency Program is mandatory for RNs with less than 1 year of experience as an RN.

**Job Description:**

- Provide direct and indirect patient care in a healthcare setting.
- Communicate effectively with all team members about changes in patient's clinical condition, or updates in care.
- Perform and interpret results of waived testing (point-of-care testing) and take appropriate action.
- Perform head-to-toe assessments on all patients, including pediatric, geriatric, and general patient populations.
- Assess and reassess pain, utilizing appropriate management techniques and educating patients and families.
- Revise care plans as indicated by the patient's response to treatment and evaluate daily for effectiveness.
- Demonstrate knowledge of medications and their administration based on patient age and clinical condition, following the six medication rights.
- Formulate and evaluate teaching plans for patients and families, adapting to identified learning needs.
- Assist physicians with procedures and perform services requiring technical and manual skills.
- Treat patients and families with respect, addressing psychosocial, cultural, ethnic, and spiritual needs.
- Act as a liaison between administration, patients, and other healthcare providers.
- Ensure documentation meets current standards and policies.
- Operate equipment safely and correctly.
- Coordinate and supervise patient care as necessary.
- Demonstrate flexibility, organization, and ability to function under stressful situations.
- Maintain clinical competencies and support a culture of safety and quality.
- Collaborate with other departments for an interdisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Maintain a positive working relationship within and across departments.
