**Job Title:** Nurse Practitioner

**Shift:** Full-time, 24-hour call, 5x8 Hour Day Shifts

**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 per week

**Experience:** Minimum years of experience required

**License:** Completion of a postgraduate Nurse Practitioner Program accredited by the NLN or ANCC-CCNE

**Certifications:** Neonatal Resuscitation

**Must-Have:** Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing

**Job Description:**

- Function independently to provide high-quality patient care in a collaborative and patient-centric manner.
- Provide care in various settings and through different modalities, including direct patient interaction in the hospital and clinic, as well as via telephone, video, or secure email when appropriate.
- Conduct patient assessments including history gathering, physical exams, review of prior records, and ancillary data, utilizing sound judgment and critical problem-solving skills.
- Develop and monitor treatment plans, effectively communicating with patients, families, and the care team.
- Provide efficient and compassionate care using a multidisciplinary approach through communication, continuity, coordination, and evaluation.
- Offer relevant education and counseling to support care plans, treatment, and discharge processes.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members, leadership, and medical staff to ensure safe patient care and communicate pertinent findings to physicians and the team.
- Assist collaborating physicians with patient management in the hospital while adhering to care site policies, regulations, and approved scope of practice.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain documentation in accordance with guidelines.
- Promote organizational mission, vision, and values, adhering to service behavior standards.
- May be required to float to other departments based on business needs and may take on-call during regularly scheduled shifts.

**Schedule Notes:** Looking for full-time coverage working 4-6 shifts per month. Regular attendance during scheduled shifts is required. Ability to work nights and/or weekends may be necessary.
