**Shift:** Night 3x8-Hour (23:00 - 07:30); Night 2x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

**Guaranteed Hours:** The client may cancel up to 3 shifts without penalty or obligation.

**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in Labor & Delivery with post-partum experience

**License:** Valid state license preferred; candidates should apply for the license immediately if not in hand.

**Certifications:** BLS, NRP

**Must-Have:**
- Experience in labor, post-partum, cesarean section, vaginal delivery, and ante-partum

**Job Description:**

- Position available in the Mother-Baby Center where RNs work in both labor and post-partum areas.
- The schedule alternates between three eight-hour shifts one week and four twelve-hour shifts the next week (Thursday - Sunday), totaling 72 hours.
- Average Daily Census: 8 deliveries per day; post-partum: 15 patients per day.
- First-time practitioners are accepted for this position.
- Will work every other weekend.
- Clinicians may be required to float within the scope to meet facility needs.
- Not open to accommodating block schedules.
- Local hires not accepted within a 100-mile radius.
- Pending licenses are accepted.
- Requested Days Off Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.
- 13-bed Labor & Delivery unit, 5 triage rooms, 2 Operating Rooms, and 27 post-partum rooms.
- Partnered with a children’s hospital to care for infants greater than 28 weeks gestation.
- Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital and Teaching Hospital, Level 2 Trauma Center.
- Charting: Experience with Epic (Excellian) is required for some positions.
- Compliance Document Deadline is the Monday before start date.
- A minimum of one supervisory reference is required.
- Candidates may need to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
- All background hits will be reviewed; open cases cannot proceed.
- Fingerprinting is mandatory and must be completed by the compliance file due date. Candidates may need to travel to a LiveScan location.
- Travelers should complete pre-start modules; time spent on modules is recorded.
