**Job Description:**

- Perform routine and specialized nuclear medicine procedures for patients of all ages.
- Adapt procedures to obtain specific diagnostic results under the direction of a radiologist.
- Ensure accurate and complete examinations in line with Medical Imaging guidelines.
- Exhibit competency in performing diagnostic imaging and radionuclide therapy.
- Complete scheduling, ordering radiopharmaceuticals, and patient preparation.
- Administer and document radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring quality care and practicing radiation protection.
- Perform equipment quality control, maintaining records and imaging camera floods.
- Follow all safety regulations and complete radiation safety documentation.
- Obtain adequate lab specimens and perform bedside lab testing and associated quality control.
- Maintain working knowledge of equipment and procedures in multiple areas.
- Troubleshoot equipment, ensuring safety and appropriate operation.
- Maintain a clean work area, checking and stocking supplies.
- Fulfill all documentation for regulatory requirements.
- Perform specialized procedures like Schilling's and Red Cell mass procedures.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills in patient moving and handling.
- Promote patient and staff safety through appropriate use of lift equipment.
- Manage support functions to meet patient expectations and needs.
- Train fellow technologists/students and promote cost-effective care.
- Process films and paperwork promptly for timely reporting.
- Maintain patient flow for efficient care, using resources for safety.
- Enter patient information accurately into medical records.
- Maintain QA, QC, and QI programs.
- Share knowledge and guide fellow technologists/students, fostering mutual respect and a productive environment.
