**Job Title:** Respiratory Therapist

**Job Specialty:** Respiratory Therapist

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** AM 12.00 Hrs, 36-hour day positions with weekend and holiday work required

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours a week

**Experience:** Level I trauma experience, teaching hospital, ICU, and pediatric experience. Adult and pediatric experience preferred.

**License:** RI license required in hand

**Certifications:** BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred

**Must-Have:**
- COVID, Booster, and Flu Vaccine Required (Medical Declination Accepted Only For Booster and Flu)
- Pediatric experience and willingness to work in Pediatric ED and PICU
- Minimum years of experience required

**Job Description:**

- Provide respiratory care in a clinical setting with a focus on pediatrics
- Work in a Level I trauma and teaching hospital environment
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care teams
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and manage care plans
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards
- Maintain effective communication with patients and their families
- Adapt to various patient needs, including those in critical care settings
- Manage and operate various respiratory care equipment
- Participate in continuous education and training to keep current with medical practices

**Dress Code:**
- Scrubs in any color.
