**Experience:** Minimum 1 year required

**License:** Current RN license in the appropriate state or current Compact state license

**Certifications:** BLS Certification required within 2 weeks of hire date; all other required certifications must be obtained within 6 months of hire date

**Must-Have:**
- Knowledge and skills appropriate to the patient population served
- Awareness of patients' rights in the delivery of care
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely

**Job Description:**
- Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on assigned units.
- Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit's standards of care.
- Demonstrate performance consistent with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the unit and organization.
- Treat staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect.
- Work in environments with exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays.
- Handle emergency/crisis situations with the ability to stand, walk, and perform tasks that require physical effort.
- Exhibit manual dexterity and fine motor coordination, as well as hearing and visual acuity within normal or correctable limits.
