**Job Description:**
- Work collaboratively with team members with a focus on patient care
- Provide nursing care on the 3rd Surgical unit
- Maintain patient ratios of 5-6:1
- Use equipment such as Hoyer lifts, CPM machines, EMR systems, and code carts
- Perform typical procedures including orthopedic surgeries (knees, hips, shoulder, cervical) and bariatrics
- Participate in night shifts with 5-6 RNs and 2-3 LNAs staffing the unit
- Adhere to the dress code by wearing scrubs (no specific color required)
- Work 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule
- Potentially float to medical oncology area
Ideal candidates will have additional experience in Med Surg, orthopedics, and bariatrics. The position requires a team-oriented individual who can work effectively with colleagues and prioritize patient-focused care. Orientation hours are not provided for this role.
