Job Overview:

Qualifications:

Required:

* High School graduate or equivalent.
* Previous histo tech and IHC experience required

Scheduling Requirements:

* Full Time
* Day Shift

Essential Functions:

* Perform immunohistochemistry staining with Ventana, Benchmark, Ultras and the Leica bond,
* Responsible for validation of new machines as well as validation and optimization of new antibodies,
* QA/QC of antibody staining upon completion of daily runs,
* Communicate effectively with Pathologist regarding current staining issues and procedures for staining,
* Perform routine, histological responsibilities of embedding, microtomy, and staining, in addition to IHC responsibilities,
* Responsible for trading staff in the IHC department, troubleshoot quality issues,
