Job Overview

We currently have an opening for an on-call Radiology Technologist to join our Spokane, Washington team. Radiologic technologists are medical personnel who perform imaging procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of patients in a professional manner. In addition, assumes departmental duties as needed.

Schedule: Varied, On-call (in-person)

Holidays: 9 observed holidays per year

Compensation range: Pay range for this position is $27.07/hr - $40.61/hr. The hired applicant's placement within the range is based on qualifications, professional experience and education.

Responsibilities

* Assesses orders for accuracy and clarifies with provider prior to imaging, if necessary (correct patient, correct CPT code, correct body part, correct side, correct views).
* Reviews images for diagnostic quality, which includes proper collimation, use of markers, and positioning accuracy.
* Demonstrates age specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to make appropriate adjustments in the care of patients.
* Practices appropriate radiation safety as designated in Federal and State Radiation Control Regulations. Practices A.L.A.R.A at all times.
* Maintains professional credentials as required by ARRT and/or state regulations

Qualifications

Required

* High School Diploma/GED
* Associate in Radiologic Technology OR Certification American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
* Radiologic Technologist license in WA
* Fluorscopy
* Board eligible candidates to sit for ARRT, RT (R) credential may be hired as long as they can show they have successfully completed educational/clinical requirements
* Must pass registry boards within 90 days of hire
* Basic Life Support (BLS)
* COVID-19 Vaccination

Preferred

* 1 Year Pediatric and/or Orthopedic Radiology experience
