The Kids Activity Attendant is responsible for the care, safety, and satisfaction of all children in the Kids Activity rea. In order to accomplish this, the Kids Activity Attendant will keep the area clean, concentrate on meeting the needs of the children and parents, and ensure an enjoyable overall experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

- Always approaches all interactions with guests and employees in a friendly and service-oriented manner by maintaining a positive demeanor.

- Promotes a positive and caring work environment by addressing and resolving any conflict in a calm and poised manner.

- Greets and introduces all children into the Kids Activity area with a welcoming smile.

- Maintains a clean, safe, and fun environment by following established security procedures while being always aware of surroundings.

- Keeps appropriate records and reporting of attendance, behavior, and accidents daily to parents and manager.

- Engages and supports necessary disciplinary action for any child who needs behavioral re-direction.

- Entertain children with games or other approved activities.

- Administers First Aid to children in accordance with company policy.

- Projects a positive, friendly, and caring attitude always.

- Maintains that the Kids Activity area is clean and maintained according to set standards.

- Checks that all toys and other objects are clean and safe.

- Ensures the safety of children in Kids Activity area follows all safety procedures.

- Stays current on developments within the hotel by reviewing communications to each shift.

- Shows initiative in job performance by anticipating the needs of guests and team members.

- Follows all company's policies, procedures, and meet standards.

- Performs any other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

1. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

2. Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required, hospitality industry preferred.

3. Current CPR/AED certification required.

4. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, or scheduled form.

5. Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English in order to communicate with guests and team members.

6. Knowledge of reservation and POS systems.

7. Ability to work with computers and good knowledge of operating software preferred.

8. Must be able to multi-task and be detail-oriented.

9. Must be a team player.

10. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a high degree of autonomy.
