CHI St. Alexius Health manages four CAHs in North Dakota - Elgin, Linton, and Wishek, as well as Mobridge Regional Medical Center in Mobridge, S.D. CHI St. Alexius Health offers a comprehensive line of inpatient and outpatient medical services, including: a Level II Trauma Center, primary and specialty physician clinics, home health and hospice services, durable medical equipment services, a fitness and human performance center and ancillary services throughout western and central North Dakota.

**Responsibilities**

CHI St. Alexius is looking for a Part Time Nuclear Med Tech to join the team

Provides Technical expertise in Nuclear Medicine procedures in accordance with the mission and philosophy of CHI St Alexius Health

**What You'll Do:**

+ Performs quality assurance checks on equipment and procedure areas

+ Ensures proper safety standards are met

+ Operates equipment necessary to produce scans under establisher guideline and protocols

+ Properly identifies and explains procedures to each patient

+ Prepares and positions patient for procedures by establisher NM protocols to achieve the highest quality image

+ Assists in maintaining supply inventory

+ Participates in on-going improvement efforts and completes competencies as required

**Qualifications**

**Education:** Graduate of an approved school of Nuclear Medicine, Board Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

**Experience** : Clinical experience as obtained during Nuclear Medicine and Radiologic Technology schooling. May cross-train as allowed by the NDMIRTB Administrative rules

**Licensure** : Registered Radiologic with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and the ND state NDMIRT. Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.

Prefer two years' experience as a nuclear medicine technologist, to include handling radioactive materials.

Preference given to registered Nuclear Medicine applicants
